Description:
In this story, the words and phrases learnt in the previous three stories are revisited. This is an opportunity to assess what is well-established in the children and what we need to spend more time repeating and practising. Each child progresses at a different pace and the depth of processing varies, so it is important to take into account the individual abilities and potential of each child.
But this story is not only an opportunity for systematisation. The development of basic mathematical skills is the main focus of this section. Through maths games and success tasks, which are so popular with children at this age, their number sense and quantity sense are shaped. They can understand mathematical concepts and relationships, e.g. the meaning behind more/less, the measurement of quantities and the significance of volume.

All our stories focus on the environment, respect for nature, education for sustainability
In our activities, we use flashcards, crafts and movement to reinforce what we have learned (so we touch on all three levels of thinking : action-verbal, visual-pictorial and abstract language thinking)
